Our
brand vision

Every Calypso piece is created slowly and intentionally using traditional beading techniques such as peyote and brick stitch, alongside the careful hand-stringing of luminous pearls. These traditional methods require patience, precision, and thousands of tiny decisions, resulting in jewelry that cannot be replicated by machines. Each design is made one piece at a time, honoring the tradition of meticulous hand craftsmanship

Our Materials

We believe extraordinary materials deserve thoughtful design. Calypso Jewelry works in partnership with Black Market Pearls for carefully selected pearls—including Tahitian pearls and luminous Edison pearls—paired with fine beads and metals chosen for their beauty and durability. The result is jewelry that feels both organic and refined, meant to be worn, treasured, and passed down.

Inspiration

Calypso Jewelry draws inspiration from Jacques Cousteau’s ship “Calypso”. Pairing the ocean’s quiet power and natural elegance with a sense of adventure! Pearls—formed slowly within the sea—reflect the same patience and beauty found in my handwoven beadwork. The name Calypso evokes mythology, tide, and movement, a reminder that jewelry can carry a sense of story, place, and wonder.
